about

Elizabeth (a Chinese/Polish American) performed on iconic NYC stages before retiring from professional dance to become a full-time writer, a passion which solidified after years of working odd part-time jobs and writing stories on napkins. She has partnered with tech startups and Fortune 1000s to hone their voice and build internal marketing processes. Her dream is to be a showrunner and executive producer who can unlock more access for women and people of color; her work is anchored in the firm belief that kindness, especially in unkind circumstances, makes the world a better place.

THE BUNNIES, AN ANIMATED TV SHOW

*Quarterfinalist: ScreenCraft Family Competition (2021)

For ages 8-12. A zany band of talking bunnies explore space and time on the DL; heaven forbid the neighbors find out.

From The Black List (received a 7):

"This is the type of project that should generate interest from a variety of different streaming services, with Amazon and Apple+ immediately coming to mind. If properly executed during production with a strong team in place, this should prove to be nothing short of a fun show that attracts a significant audience given the themes explored and the overall quality of the writing. Beyond the show as a series, it's a strong sample for the writer that should serve to open up doors with literary managers as well as help with staffing on an existing show."

AMERICA'S NEXT TOP SPIES! HALF-HOUR COMEDY

*Quarterfinalist: ScreenCraft Comedy Competition (2022)

*Quarterfinalist: Nashville Film Festival Screenwriting Competition (2022)

Four socially inept and lonely individuals, upon being recruited to the CIA's academy, find family and purpose in the fires of their training — not knowing that one of them is a washed-up journalist who hopes to redeem himself by exposing their school to the world.

From WeScreenplay Coverage:

"I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge that the conceptual framework of the series is also quite entertaining and more than interesting enough to keep an audience engaged. Throughout the length of the pilot, it becomes clear that the series is not afraid to poke fun at itself, and while there may end up being serious consequences for the actions that Mr. John Sullivan is secretly undertaking, for now at least, the tone leans heavily on the comedic side. Moving forward, it's easy to imagine all of the misadventures that this bunch will get into it, not to mention all of the ways in which the relationship dynamics between each of them will change and evolve over time -- especially John and Wren."

UNSTAGED, A STREAMING DRAMA SERIES

*Quarterfinalist: PAGE Awards Screenwriting Competition (2022)

27-year-old Amber gets the dance job of a lifetime... and now has to figure out how the hell she'll make it work.

From WeScreenplay Coverage:

"The idea has lots of cinematic possibilities referencing productions like FAME, GREY'S ANATOMY - at
the same time it's coming off as fresh, having something new to add to the genre. The protagonist Amber's dream to dance with a company and her struggle to get there has a modern, relevant vibe, and the fact that she's her own worst enemy at times here is playing into the stark reality of the life she's chosen. There are lots of possibilities here cinematically and visually it works from the start. The writing's great at tying together this great variety of settings and locales -- the transitions are very pure."

From ScreenCraft Coverage:

"The concept is great and has the potential to be developed into an engaging series. The setting of
a dance company and the individual journeys of the dancers can be compelling for viewers. The script aligns with the conventions of the genre efficiently. The diverse casting possibilities are a strength. There is potential to become invested in Amber and Kara’s journeys as the series progresses. Characters such as Amber, Kara, Lucas, and Arlo should appeal to actors as they will be interesting roles to portray.
The concept is wonderful. Overall, there are several elements in this script that establish its genuine potential. After minor revisions, it should be ready to pitch."
